Preparing for court in a high conflict divorce can feel overwhelming. And attorneys are busy and not always great at explaining what happens at each step of the divorce process. (What are the steps for filing for divorce?)
Trial prep services can be helpful for those currently involved in litigation or about to start the custody modification process.
I work with my clients to:
- identify themes in their divorce or modification
- tell a compelling, objective story using the evidence they have, and
- draft documents that are clear and concise that help their attorneys present the best possible case.
While I am not an attorney, my trial and document prep services help my clients and their attorneys win cases by making the information easy to understand and concise. It also saves clients money and attorneys precious time so that they can focus on the legal arguments because the facts are clearly presented.

Help draft interrogatory responses with best interest factors and narrative in mind before sending to attorney

Help craft a strategy for negotiating with a high conflict person, including determining non-negotiatables
Review draft parenting plans for loopholes, missing items, and tone
Assist with categorizing documentation to assist attorney in telling story and highlighting relevant concerns

Parenting Plan Draft Review
$75/30 minutes
Parenting plan review includes:
- Comprehensive read of proposed (or current) parenting plan
- Feedback regarding potential loopholes that high conflict person can exploit
- Feedback regarding items left out of plan for consideration
- Feedback on questions to ask attorney
- Feedback on how requests may be perceived by others
- Feedback on how successful others have been in enforcement of certain provisions
Declaration Support
$150/hour
Support includes:
- Review existing documentation if needed
- Categorization of documentation into itemized categories
- Support crafting narrative using evidence
- Data analysis to support narrative (ie. “Ex has a history of cancelling his parenting time. In the past year, Ex has cancelled over 100 hours of time, resulting in a loss of more than 10% of his custodial time.”)
